Three Different Bird Imprint Examples
A six and a half week old litter of puppies were "given" a crate of quail to investigate. Within a few seconds, their instincts turned them into a "swarming pack". Later, they had their individual encounters in a small, netted pen.

A few months later (at four months of age) Daisy (from the litter) had a rooster shot over her. (much happened in between)

                          Here is a litter of pups being imprinted with ducks before sending them off to
                               their owners. My pro friend had been working with them a few days and
                                                   I just happened by. Photos were necessary!
